The 2025 national Place-Based Education Conference is being held at the Eastern Michigan University Student Center in Ypsilanti (ip-sil-ÂN-tē), Michigan.

The center features a wide range of eatery choices, fireplace lounges,the EMU Bookstore, EMU Credit Union, wireless Internet access, and two art galleries in addition to our conference space.
The building was designed with earth-friendly features such as energy saving lighting, glass walls allowing natural lighting, bottle refilling stations, and recycling bins throughout.

Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest sits on the shores of Ford Lake and offers easy access to Eagle Crest Golf Club and Eastern Michigan University’s Student Center (our conference venue). Downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan are a short drive away.
